Features / Extras
Extras, all unlocked.
Watch the PlayStation 2 version's cutscenes between the chapters, play every Extras item from the start, and switch the game's cheats on and off.
PS2 cutscenes
The PS2 cutscenes.
The PlayStation 2 version has cutscenes between the missions that the Xbox 360 version doesn't. Setup offers them, upscaled, as a separate 1.9 GB download. You can also add them later and switch them on or off in Settings › Advanced.
They play between the chapters as part of the story, and after a chapter played from Chapter select. The next chapter loads while a cutscene plays, so you go straight on.
Extras
Every Extras item, unlocked.
Extras is in the Play menu, and every item in it can be played straight away, with or without a save. Scores and completion are recorded as usual. The pause menu works in the galleries, which never write to your save.
Artbook
The Artbook.
First in Extras: the six Weta concept paintings from the PS2 bonus disc, with zoom and Save to PC. The launcher downloads the bonus disc from archive.org in the background, reads it and keeps only the paintings; nothing from it comes in the port's download.
Chapters
Every chapter, from the start.
Chapter select has all 42 chapters open, with your best scores. When you finish one, the PS2 cutscene that follows it plays if you have them, and you are back in the Play menu.
Cheats
Cheats as switches.
The game's cheats are switches on the Cheats tab instead of codes to type each time: fast healing, one-hit kills, 999 bullets, unlimited spears, and the revolver, machine gun, shotgun and sniper rifle. They switch on when a chapter starts, follow changes made in the pause menu, and 999 bullets lasts the whole chapter.
In the Hayes chapter the weapon cheats are off, so the fight there plays out with the chapter's own weapons. Everywhere else they work as you set them.
